East Side Junk Yard

For as long as I’ve been taking photos, I’ve been taking photos of cars.

I’ve learned that if you look around most junk or scrap yards, you’ll find a yard of cars that were too ‘classic’ to be scrapped. Sometimes they have rare parts, but most of the time, someone couldn’t see such special cars get crunched.

I’ve shot this yard multiple times, and even though the cars rarely change, I’m always coming back to it. On this visit, all I had on me was a vintage 85mm prime lens, so these shots are all pretty close-up.
